About this site

This site is built using Middleman, a Ruby static site generator. It’s hosted on Netlify.

I’ll be trying out new browser features (particularly layout features like flexbox and CSS Grid). I only test it in a modern browser. If you don’t use a modern browser to view it, it might look broken 🙃

Using CSS Grid has encouraged me to experiment with art-directed posts. Over time, and as I get more au fait with the possibilities, I’ll try to make the layouts more interesting and varied. It’s also a place to practice my writing; I’m eager to become better and more prolific.
